Black Friday Deal Drops the Mac mini M4 to Just $499

Black Friday is always packed with discounts on headphones, chargers, and all the usual accessories — but the real excitement comes from deals on the expensive stuff. And this year, one of the standout offers is on Apple’s latest compact desktop. The Mac mini M4 is currently down to $499, a solid $100 off its usual $599 price tag.

That’s only about $30 above the lowest price we’ve ever seen, and a surprisingly good deal for a machine that’s far more capable than its size suggests.

Apple’s tiny desktop scored a 90 in our review, and for good reason. The M4 chip turns this little box into a powerhouse, and the refreshed design finally brings front-facing USB-C and a headphone jack — something Mac mini users have been begging for. Apple also bumped the base configuration to 16GB of RAM, which makes the entry-level model feel a lot more future-proof than earlier generations.

If you need more storage or memory, Apple’s higher-specced configurations are seeing their own Black Friday cuts:

  • 16GB RAM / 512GB SSD — now $690 (down from $799)
  • 24GB RAM / 512GB SSD — now $890 (down from $999)

And if you’re the type who always adds AppleCare+, the bundle price ends up about $100 cheaper across the board.

There’s also a small but welcome discount on the Magic Trackpad, which has dropped to $120. It’s not a huge price cut — about 7 percent — but it’s still the lowest price we’ve seen for it.

If you’ve been thinking about putting together a clean, minimal desktop setup, these Mac mini deals make it one of the best times of the year to finally jump in.
